     I've made and uploaded the book review video on Saturday, so I don't have anything else to do for my website. First, I made the video on the computer using a software called Lightworks, but I couldn't export it for some reason, so instead, I used an app on the iPhone called InShot. This app had so many features and was so easy to use despite it was an iPhone app. It was better than the free video editing software on the computer, so I was very surprised. It was better than iMovie (app version) too.

 I didn't have much to do except thinking of my video plan today. I was planning to take the video last weekend, but I had some work to do and now there are more assignments, so I have to take the video next weekend.

     Today I realized that all my book review was in a serif font. Dyslexic people cannot read well in serif fonts so I had to change this. Today at school, I used the embed code function to change the text to a sans-serif font such as Arial. I watched a tutorial on YouTube and the code is here . Using this code I was able to change the font to Arial. However, when I tried this at home, somehow it didn't work, so I had changed all my paragraphs to sub-heading fonts which made the words too big.

    Today Mr.Paterson told us why tests are useless for measuring how much students learned. Tests don't measure how much students learned, but it's a way to measure students' short-term memory. I agree with this because I had a civics test last week,  but I've forgotten about half of the things already. Assignments that require using many creative skills are a better way to measure how much students have learned and these skills help us solve problems in our future jobs.  However, in real life, tests still exist and I think in Japan this system won't change for a long time, so, for now, I think we should be aware that tests are useless but also accept it and deal with it. It is true that many companies place importance on educational achievements, and still many schools have exams that mostly require short-term memory. 

 Today Mr.Paterson told us to do a presentation to our parents and get their feedback. We should explain about the presentation style, digital tools such as Google Slides and about an academic book review. However, my mother can understand English and I have been telling her about my presentations and the digital tools all along, so I actually didn't have to explain much.

    Today we took our profile photos for our website. Like other teams, we used the portrait feature on the iPhone to take good quality photos. Since I've uploaded the profile photo, I have finished my part of the website. From the next lesson, I will work on my video plan.
